The recent series "Fate of the Jedi" is a nine-book series, written by best-selling Star Wars authors Aaron Allston and Troy Denning. As the pair had previously done other nine-book series, Legacy of the Force, with writer Karen Traviss, instead they changed the trio to include Christie Golden, writer of many Star Trek novels. Set two years after Legacy of the Force, Fate of the Jedi introduces a 25,000-year-old, unknown being called Abeloth, who was, after being trapped on an unknown world for millennia, now poses a great threat to the whole of the galaxy. The series also reveals the re-emergence of the Lost Tribe of the Sith, first introduced on Jack Johnson Miller's nine-part series of the same name. Pinned between both the Sith and Abeloth, the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance must find new ways to function ans survive, before the Universe collapses under too much pressure.
